New Wealden Community Gardens Network

As a joint project between the Wealden Food Partnership and the Community Development Team, Helen and Mel are holding a meeting to explore the scope for a Wealden Community Garden Network.

The meeting will be on Thursday 15 May 10 am – 12pm and will be hosted  by Furnace Brook in Herstmonceux. The address is Trolliloes, Cowbeech, Hailsham, East Sussex BN27 4QR

The idea of the network has come from a range of conversations, and this first session will look at

• what people want from such a network,
• what groups are doing or would like to do,
• what is being grown and for who,
• where projects are located across the region,
• what resources people have or need, funding opportunities,
• and what you would like from us to keep this network going

The first session will have an opportunity for talks. We will hear from Furnace Brook about their great work, and (weather permitting) there will be an opportunity for a tour of the site. Further info can be found here: Ethos | Furnace Brook
