UCEP is a Eastbourne base, registered UK, not for profit, charity set up to pay school fees and provide additional support for children from disadvantaged families in very poor communities in West Africa. 1. UCEP works to minimise obstacles to children’s formal education and their future development. 2. Through our teams working within each village community we serve, we actively engage parents, teachers, and community leaders in helping with the holistic development and safeguarding of our pupils. 3.UCEP pays school fees and other schooling costs where needed. 4. We provide guidance by endeavouring to give them good character-building coaching and mentoring. 5. We follow their progress, encouraging each child to complete their individual education journey and continue to their chosen careers. 6. We measure outcomes to help us progressively achieve our aim of developing individual beacons of hope that will positively influence their peers and their wider communities.
