Sussex Police Charitable Trust provides welfare support to people who are employed by Sussex Police. It is a membership organisation to which officers and staff pay a small monthly subscription. The Trust provides welfare guidance, signposting and referral on a range of issues, including debt advice and financial help in the form of grants and interest-free loans. A sample of the kinds of things the Trust helps with includes: hospital travel and parking, legal advice, illness, injury and relationship problems. The Trust has a recuperative facility which members can use (a bungalow in Dorset) free of charge. Sussex How to join SPCT To access support you must be a member. Membership costs just £2.50 per month and is deducted directly through payroll or through standing order for Special Constables. Please join the Trust via our online joining form. Special Constables will also need to complete the Standing Order form.
