Relief of social isolation and loneliness by the provision of 1-2-1 befriending, social groups, buddy service and supporting local grass root charity partners, to benefit those feeling socially isolated, excluded or experiencing loneliness, including, but not exclusively, older people, those with disabilities or those experiencing life changes, for example a new child, retirement or bereavement in the Seaford and surrounding area.
During Covid we are providing a telephone befriending and welfare call service along with virtual social coffee mornings for our volunteers. Moving forward we will do face to face befriending, buddy service and support our volunteers to set up and run social activities for socially isolated and lonely residents across the generations.
