Motor Neurone Disease Association (East Sussex Branch)

To provide information and support for people living with Motor Neurone Disease and their carers in the East Sussex Branch area (from Portslade to Hastings and inland).
The Group is run by volunteers, with the sole aim of serving all those in the area who are living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and their carers, family and friends. The Group also has a team of trained Association Visitors who offer a befriending role providing support, information, and an ongoing link with the Motor Neurone Disease Association to people living with MND. We can provide practical support in the form of liaison with health and social care professionals such as speech and language therapists, specialist equipment and the medical profession. Fundraising and raising awareness are also very important aspects of group activities, and we organise events throughout the year which are well supported.
