Mayfield and Five Ashes Community Services (MAYFACS)

To promote community based services and support for people living in the parish of Mayfield and Five Ashes and its surrounding area, to assist in combating loneliness and isolation and to promote general health improvements and sustain quality of life. This charity is two years old.

We manage the following activities: Good neighbours scheme Computer buddies - linking youngsters with the elderly Administer two lunch clubs Run a fortnightly‘coffee & chat’ group in Five Ashes. Run a monthly social meeting with speakers and tea. Organise monthly trips. Run a life stories project with a local school Run a weekly knitting group Provide transport to take people to our activities Projects we are also involved with: Helping to promote the existing community cars scheme.
