Provides the following services for the residents of Manor Park, Hempstead Fields, Grants Hill Court, Linden Court, Manor House Court and Shaftesbury Court in Uckfield: - Surgery Car Service – transporting patients to and from local GP surgeries - Good Neighbour Scheme – befriending, odd jobs, form filling, help with IT - Warm Welcome – open to any resident of Uckfield and is held each Tuesday 11am to 2pm at the Luxford Centre, providing a friendly place where guests can socialise, play games, read papers and enjoy free refreshments. Free available lifts to and from the Warm Welcome. - Community events including an annual Big Picnic Lunch in June which is open to all and family orientated entertainment - Ecology Walks - Amenities - for example commemorative benches and benches to encourage walking by providing points of rest at appropriate locations - Commemorative plaque and cherry trees to recognise Key Workers - Provides a voice, and represents the views of, the people that live in Manor Park and Hempstead Fields and the nearby retirement complexes.
