To remove transport barriers for residents of the Havens coastal stretch

Havens Community Cars CIO is a volunteer car scheme that provides residents in the Havens area access to transport provided by our wonderful team of volunteer drivers. We recruit, train and support a team of drivers who kindly give up their time to provide a valuable service. Drivers are paid Government approved expenses, including a fuel allowance, meaning our drivers are never out of pocket. To sign up as a volunteer driver, no matter how little time you can spare, please contact the HCC Team on 01273 918226, email [email protected] or pop into our office at 2a Thompson Road, Denton, Newhaven and speak to the team for a chat. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm. Our scheme has been designed to be sustainable and long-term, benefiting residents not already being supported by other transport providers or able to easily access public transport.
