Hailsham Cricket Club

<p>The aim of Hailsham Cricket Club is to offer high quality cricket to all. Hailsham Cricket Club was established in 1871 with the main aim of promoting and encouraging participation of local Hailsham residents in the sport of cricket. They run 4 Saturday teams, a Sunday and mid-week team and a winter indoor team. They have practice sessions for club members on a Thursday evening throughout the summer season. In addition, recently they have re-established the colts section after a few years, with particular focus on children aged between 5 and 16 years of age with a view to establishing long term links between children and the sport of cricket. The colts section has started extremely well with over 90 children attending on a regular basis. They hope this will be the catalyst for their planned expansion of the colts section across all age groups for young persons. The Club has also set up some very important links with the local sports college and local primary schools, to try and spread the participation of cricket in the community.</p>
