Futures Theatre

Futures Theatre logo

Futures Theatre offers marginalised women and non-binary people a space to thrive, addressing gender inequality and the intersections within this, such as race, class and disability. Through community-based arts programmes we empower women to find their voice, their hope and their rightful space in the world. We are vocal about the issues that women face and we provide opportunities for our participants to create change and awareness through our public work, including productions and podcasts.

- Creating and touring new-writing productions and award-winning podcasts that amplify marginalised women's and non binary people's voices and call for positive change; - Delivering THRIVE, our long-term creative engagement programme with and for marginalised women and non binary people, in partnership with grassroots services; - Collaborating with artists facing barriers because of inequalities in gender, race, class, and other identities; - Training social workers supporting disadvantaged women, promoting self-reflective practice.
