Friends of Eastbourne Seafront
Our purpose is to improve Eastbourne seafront with a particular interest in our Bandstand and Redoubt Fortress. We do this by campaigning for improvement, we recently ran a successful’ Save our public toilets campaign’ to prevent our Seafront toilets from closure.. We work in practical ways, by having a volunteer Welcome team , working from Easter to October on two hour shifts, talking to visitors, giving directions and sign posting. Our volunteer Gardening Team weed, maintain and care for various areas along the seafront. In 2023 we opened a children’s cycle track on the seafront.
