Our purpose is to support, empower and IMPROVE the quality of life of the people who use our services. Eastbourne Mencap strive to enable people to have greater independence and opportunities to meet their hopes, dreams and aspirations and to actively involve them as far as practically possible in making decisions over their day to day life and future. Our ethos and values are the foundation of everything we do. Our passionate, dedicated staff team provide a personalised service, focused on the individual’s needs, continuously monitoring our approach to ensure that our progressive and personal development is striving for an excellent and outstanding service. We use award winning electronic technology to record everything in accordance with current CQC requirements.

Our support staff strive to ensure that a safe, diverse and person-centred quality of life is provided. Day Care Services   At The Hive we offer a range of activities and projects. We work in partnership with local organisations within our community. We support people to achieve their dreams and ambitions. Our aim is to support people to gain skills during our varied needs assessed workshops to ensure that everyone that participates remains engaged and fulfilled. Our workshops are person centre led by the people that use our service. Our vision is to build on local community links to enable our day centre users to take an active role within our community. Our workshops encompass ASDAN courses, which enable us to provide engaging programmes and qualifications that equip adults with the necessary skills for learning, work and life
