DRI’s purpose is to develop human capital and to create a safe environment for the learning and development of ethnic minority individuals, communities and organisations. We want to encourage and train individuals to lead themselves in order to lead other people, organisations, communities and societies. DRI was set up to help people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities in Sussex to access the services they need by • signposting public sector or charitable organisations locally • offering training programmes for those that find it difficult to enter mainstream educational institutions by understanding and meeting specific needs
