Blackberry Buzzards CIC - Rooted Project
Rooted is a volunteer-led community growing project with the mission to grow sustainable, cost-free produce for the benefit of the community, to encourage community growing activities, to promote the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors in natural environments and to support the development of a vibrant and sustainable Eastbourne food economy.
- Delivery of 2-3 community allotment sessions per week.
- Delivery of 1 children's allotment session per week
- Collection of donated food from Gorringe Road 'crop-drop'
- Distribution of food to community fridge projects
- Supporting the work of the Eastbourne Food Partnership
- Development of community food toolkits
