Their work includes developing and expanding their services in line with what Carers tell them they need to feel supported and able to continue in their caring role, promoting the needs and challenges of unpaid Carers throughout East Sussex, encouraging and developing volunteers and staff through on-going training, support and supervision and maintaining a high organisational profile and raising the profile of Carers within the local community.

Respite & Befriending- giving carers the opportunity to have time to them self, building a long term befriending relationship with the person they look after. Including covering Healthcare appointments for carers Talk and Support- Providing Carers with a listening ear and and opportunity to discuss their caring role in confidence Computer help at home- Teaching carers to learn how to use their computer in ways that will support them in their caring role and reduce their isolation
