Lewes Local Plan – Defining our policies and early site allocation proposals

You’ve been invited to participate in the Lewes Local Plan – Defining our policies and early site allocation proposals consultation by the consultation manager, Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils (Mr. Eduardo Torres Rojas).

This consultation is open from 6 Jan 2025 at 16:00 to 28 Feb 2025 at 17:00.

The consultation ‘Defining our policies and early site allocation proposals’ for the emerging Local Plan for Lewes is still live.

If you have already participated, thank you for your input!

If you haven’t participated yet, there is still time to do so. The consultation will close on 28 February 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

We encourage you to access the Consultation Platform directly by clicking the ‘Participate in this consultation’ link below or by accessing the website https://www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk/Lewes-Local-Plan. There you can access and respond to the consultation document and view the early site allocation proposals and supporting evidence.

Note that following residents’ comments, we have added a specific button to the consultation platform so that you can easily comment on the early site allocation proposals.

Additionally, if you wish to learn more, we invite you to visit the unstaffed exhibition of the consultation, which is on display at the Marine Workshops at Newhaven from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays until 27 February 2025.
