Riding Volunteer

Support children and young people through the therapeutic power of horses!
Chailey Heritage Foundation is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Hippotherapy volunteers to assist in our unique equine-assisted therapy sessions for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs.
Your role will include:
🐴 Leading or side-walking with horses during hippotherapy sessions
🧡 Providing encouragement and support to the riders
🚿 Helping with basic horse care, grooming, and preparing for sessions
🌟 Working alongside our therapists and equine specialists in a safe and inclusive environment.
Sessions are term time only.
