Organisation St Wilfrid's Hospice

We are looking for individuals who have some time at the start and the end of the day to help set up and take down equipment at some of our larger Open Garden venues.

Locations:

* Friston Place, Friston BN20 0AH - Sat 15th June

* Foxhunt Manor, Foxhunt Green, Nr Waldron TN21 0RX - Sat 27th July

* Knightsbridge House, Grove Hill, Hellingly BN27 4HH - Sat 31st Aug

Within the Hospice we strive to be:

Tasks include:
* Transferring equipment to and from equipment transportation and Open Garden Site
* As part of a team erecting and dismantling hospice gazebo, including securing with pegs and ratchet straps
* Setting up and taking down Open Garden equipment (such as tables and chairs) as directed by Community Fundraiser

You will need….
* To be physically able to perform required tasks, including moving and handling of inanimate objects, (such as tables, chairs, plastic storage boxes, gazebo)
* To be practical and resourceful with good attention to detail
* To enjoy working as part of a team
* To perform tasks within given timeframes
* To comply with the relevant policies and procedures of St Wilfrid’s Hospice
* To wear volunteer badge when you are volunteering

Suggested Time Commitment: Set up usually 9am to 11am, take down of equipment from 3:45pm to 5pm at a selection of (approx. six) Open Gardens from April to September.
