Saturday, May 17th, our 3VA team has had the honour to be invited to Vyshyvanka Day in Eastbourne, organised by Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain Eastbourne and East Sussex Ukraine Support.

Congratulations to AUGB and ESUS for organising this impressive event, which has gathered the vast Ukrainian community of East Sussex and beyond, their friends and families, neighbours, support workers, volunteers, and partners.

On that day, everyone enjoyed: historical information about Ukrainian embroidery, its beautiful and meaningful patterns, and their cultural importance; performances by many talented musicians, the Culbaba Choir, and “Wild Whirlwind” dance group; and a fantastic Ukrainian buffet with delicious food to savour.

With love and gratitude in our hearts we would love to wish peace and happiness to Ukraine and Ukrainians!
