Organisation Homes for Ukraine 3VA

Location East Sussex

Starting 01 January 2025, BRP cards will no longer be in use in the UK. E-Visas – the new required digital immigration system – will be activated. This is an online record of your immigration status. All Ukrainians residing in the UK with a BRP visa will need to register for an E-Visa by December 31, 2024

To do this, you must set up an Account with UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI). You can set up an account anytime before the 31st December, so we would recommend starting the process when you can:

  • if you have access to the email used to apply for your UK BRP, Create UKVI Account then follow the steps to apply for your E-Visa
  • if you lost access to the email used to apply for your UK BRP, Recover UKVI Account then follow the steps to apply for your E-Visa
  • All information about E-Visa and registration including an instruction video on how to create a UKVI account can be found here
  • Keep your BRP card as you may need it for future visa applications to stay in the UK

If you wish to travel outside of the UK, you will need your BRP card and your current passport until December 31, 2024. From January 01, 2025, to reside in the UK and to travel, you will need an E-Visa and your current passport registered to your UKVI account.

Warning regarding a recent social media scam: if you are contacted to update your immigration details through social media platforms, please ignore the message, it is a scam. UKVI will never contact you via social media.
