Applications Open for Grants Promoting Science and Technology Awareness Across the UK
Organisations can apply for funding to develop public engagement projects that promote science and technology supported by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). The Public Engagement Spark Awards 2025A aim to introduce new audiences to STFC research, highlight scientific achievements and demonstrate the value of STEM in the UK.
Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available for projects lasting between 12 and 36 months. Eligible applicants must be part of a UK-based organisation that produces annual financial reports. Applicants can include researchers, STFC scientists, facility users, museums, schools, universities, community groups and science communicators.
Projects should focus on delivering high-quality public engagement activities, working with STFC’s communication teams and supporting the Council’s public engagement strategy.
The deadline for applications is 24 April 2025 (16:00).
