Your Financial Guidance Skills with Free Training!
The East Sussex Money Guiders Training Programme is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills so that you can confidently speak to the people you support about their money and give safe, effective guidance and signposting. These free resources provided by the Money & Pension Service (MaPS) and supported by the East Sussex Multi-Agency Financial Inclusion Programme Steering Group partners will help you to take your help further.
Why Join the East Sussex Money Guiders Training Programme?
- Comprehensive Training: The programme includes a foundation level and three technical domains to further expand your knowledge. The foundation level consists of around three hours of online learning, with modules ranging from 10-20 minutes each. Progress is saved and tracked, allowing you to complete the training in manageable chunks.
- City & Guilds Recognition: Complete an assessment at foundation level and Tier 1 which is endorsed by City & Guilds and comes with digital credentials.
- Build Confidence: The training aims to build your confidence in conveying the right financial information and ensuring residents are signposted to the correct services.
- Access to Resources: You will have access to e-learning courses, an assessment framework, and MaPS resources and community networks. The competency framework supports continued professional development and offers the opportunity to gain City & Guilds endorsed credentials.
- Networks: The Money Guiders Community Hub is an online space where practitioners can join a community of Money Guiders, find further resources and can find and book onto our network events. You can view the Calendar of Events and join up to any session delivered by network partners.
