East Sussex Climate Change Health Impact Assessment Survey

The Government’s 2023 report highlighted the significant health effects of climate change in the UK. We are now conducting a local assessment to understand the specific impacts on East Sussex residents.

The survey aims to gather insights on:

  • The effects of extreme weather, natural disasters, and environmental problems on wellbeing.
  • The prevalence of climate-sensitive health outcomes in East Sussex.
  • The experiences of vulnerable populations.

 

Key Climate Issues:

The survey covers a range of climate issues, including:

  • Drought
  • Wildfires
  • Flooding and erosion
  • Extreme temperatures
  • Air quality and pollution
  • Spread of disease
