Fully Funded Leadership Training for BAME-led Groups in Sussex

Are you part of a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic (BAME)-led community or voluntary organisation in Sussex?

Do you aspire to enhance your group’s leadership, strengthen its operational capacity, and significantly increase its impact within your community?

DRI invites you to register for our fully funded Strive to Grow Leadership Training Programme.

This initiative, commissioned by Sussex Community Foundation, is specifically designed to empower small BAME-led groups across East and West Sussex.

Running from June to July 2025, the Strive to Grow programme is free for all applicants and it offers a comprehensive suite of support tailored to your unique needs:

– Four hours of one-to-one leadership and management coaching in Lewes or online
– A two-hour in-person workshop for directors and managers in Brighton
– A three-hour in-person financial management/fundraising workshop in Brighton

The two in-person workshops are open to a wider range of organisations. However, only two organisations will be selected for the four hours of dedicated one-to-one coaching.

The deadline to apply for the full programme is the 13th of June, 2025.

Eligibility: the full programme is open to BAME-led community or voluntary organisations based in East or West Sussex seeking to improve governance, sustainability, and impact.
