Celebrate Community Champions! Nominations Now Open for the 3VA Celebrating Communities 2025 Awards

3VA is delighted to announce nominations are now open for the fourth annual Celebrating Communities 2025 Awards! We invite all our members and supporters to nominate outstanding grassroots organisations and charities who deserve recognition. Do you know a grassroots organisation making a real difference? We want to hear about them! Nominate them for the Celebrating Communities 2025 Awards and help us celebrate their achievements.

We’re seeking nominations in the following categories:

• Supporting Marginalised Communities: Recognising organisations providing vital support to vulnerable individuals and groups.
• Supporting Community Cohesion: Celebrating initiatives that bring people together and build stronger, more connected communities.
• Supporting Volunteering: Acknowledging the power of volunteers and the organisations who effectively engage them.
• Addressing Climate Change: Highlighting innovative projects tackling environmental challenges and promoting sustainability.

When submitting your nomination, please clearly state which category your nominee belongs to. In a concise explanation (no more than 500 words), tell us why this organisation or individual deserves recognition.

Winning organisations and individuals are encouraged to attend our awards ceremony at Uckfield Civic Centre on 25th September 2025. (Attendance is not mandatory but highly valued.)

This year, we’re also thrilled to introduce a new category: Individual Volunteer of the Year, recognising outstanding contributions from individual volunteers who have supported individuals or organisations they work with.
