Announcing Beyond the Box which is designed for Foodbank Users and for those living on a tight budget

Our Neighbourhood CIC, in partnership with Hackney Design, have just launched a new free online resource which could be very useful for many residents in the cost of living crisis.

It’s called Beyond the Box, and is designed for Foodbank Users and for those living on a tight budget.

It shows many ways to use the food in your emergency parcel from the food bank, with everything measured in mugfuls and spoonfuls, so you

don’t need lots of kitchen equipment. Good for people in temporary accommodation. It also contains cookery videos from Eastbourne Foodbank clients.

For those on a tight budget, it contains a 6-week fill your fridge plan with costed shopping lists, for three meals a day, with photos, and easy to follow recipes.
