Lewes District

As the local Voluntary Action, we provide a wide range of development support to groups working across Lewes District – from Seaford and the Havens to Lewes town and north to places including Ditchling and Newick.

Our focus is asset-based community development. We can work with you on a range of areas, including setting up a new group, choosing the right structure, identifying funding opportunities and applying for them, developing policies, managing projects and much more. We can also help you recruit and retain volunteers.

3VA online Community Network Meeting All Areas

Wednesday 4th December 2024 10.30am – 12.30pm

This event is open to representatives from community groups and public sector/health colleagues from anywhere in the three areas covered by 3VA.

This is a unique opportunity to connect with participants from Eastbourne, Lewes District and Wealden, to share ideas, and learn from each other. Whether you are new in post or a seasoned practitioner, everyone’s contribution is of value, and you will be very welcome.

Among the topics under discussion and with input from guest speakers, will be tackling isolation and loneliness and energy advice for groups.
