Time Commitment: (minimum of once a month commitment) Wednesday evenings from 3:30 pm-7:30 pm

Role Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Youth Leader Assistants to support our youth program. As a
Volunteer Youth Leader Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a fun, supportive, and inclusive
atmosphere for young people. You will work alongside our experienced youth leaders to facilitate activities,
build positive relationships, and ensure the safety and well-being of our participants.
Responsibilities:
● Build positive and supportive relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model.
● Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of participants during activities.
● Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity spaces.
● Provide support and encouragement to young people, helping them to participate and develop their
skills.
● Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
● Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality
guidelines.
● Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications and Skills:
● A genuine passion for working with young people.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
● Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
● Reliability and punctuality.
● Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
● A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
