Well-being Tree

Well-being Tree is a community and a not for profit organisation. We seek to reach out to people (mostly adults), who may be isolated, stressed, or depressed, have physical, or learning disabilities, dementia, mental health problems, or other challenging circumstances such as being a family carer for a person with a disability, or long term health issues. By providing free or low cost creative and well-being activities and services, we seek to improve mental and physical well-being, develop self esteem and help members to feel that they belong and are valued in the Well-being Tree community and in the wider community.

Well-being Tree connects the whole community.
- Improving physical & mental health, improving self-esteem. Supporting adults experiencing challenges in their day to day life through low cost & free creative & well-being projects.
- We are member led and believe that self care, creativity and social connections help the community to flourish and has a wide impact for society as a whole.
- Weekly creative and well-being Zoom groups, (singing/movement, meditation/mindfulness, drama, and art).
- Creativity & Well-being in nature
- Social activities
- Support for individual creative pursuits
- Access to art/drama or music therapists
- Projects with various creative arts or well-being practitioners.
- Opportunity to participate and exhibit in local events and festivals such as Artwave and the Ageing Well festival.
- Connecting with similar groups abroad through Zoom.

Our members include people with disabilities or mental health problems and carers. The majority of the management team are living with disability.
