At our monthly Club meetings we usually have a speaker, discuss Club business, projects and other activities.
We also put a strong emphasis on friendship and mutual support for our Club members. We meet on a more social basis, for outings, meals and outdoor activities, often to raise money for one of the projects we support.
In addition there is a Book Club, a Writers Group, an Art Group and a Craft Group.
Take a look at the Club Diary page to find out more about our activities.
As part of a large international organisation, we have developed special links with sister clubs in Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Japan, Germany, Turkey and the UK, and have supported international projects.
Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) has 6000 Members in 270 Clubs in 18 countries in Great Britain, Ireland and countries in Asia, the Caribbean and Malta, who work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.
