Eastbourne Open Award Centre (EOAC)

The Eastbourne Open Award Centre (EOAC) provides a base at Hampden Park Community Centre for registration and support to complete the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme. There are 3 Levels to challenge young people:- Bronze (14yrs), Silver (15yrs) and Gold (16yrs). For each level there are 4 sections, Expedition, Skill, Physical and Volunteering. At Gold level there is an additional Residential Section to complete.
The Eastbourne Open Award Centre delivers with help from Volunteers:- • The Expedition Training • Organises the Practice & Assessed Expeditions on the South Downs (Bronze Level) and in Ashdown Forest (Silver Level) • Supports the participants to complete their other sections of their Award Programme ie.Skills, Volunteering and Physical.
