Downland Singers

We are a small, friendly local choir who love to spread the joy of music by singing together and entertaining groups locally. Our aims are to promote, develop and maintain music education and an appreciation of vocal music. We believe that singing forms a vital part of a healthy lifestyle. While learning we are able to develop our skills and make new friends.

• The choir meets on a Thursday evening from 7.30-9.00pm for rehearsal during term time. • 3 main concerts are performed in Willingdon each year • Additional performances are given at the request of local organisations • Anyone with a keen interest in choral singing is welcome to join the choir (this may be dependent on vacancies in each voice part)
