We are currently looking for one or possibly two more 'key volunteers' to help out at the Lewes House Garden Project. We run 3 weekly gardening sessions, open to anyone who want to get outdoors and contribute to the renovation of a historic garden in central Lewes. Half our participants are referred by the surgery, half come through other routes e.g. live nearby, Some are fully mobile people with gardening experience, and some are beginners, some are dealing with mental health challenges, or early stage dementia. A few need one to one support. We would like one or two people who would like to contribute to the gardening but would be happy to spend PART of each session supporting someone else.
