Local funders open for applications
Sussex Community Foundation has reopened its main grant programme. They have now introduced a two stage process starting with an Expression of Interest. Funding priorities are Tackling poverty; Improving Health; Reaching Potential; Acting on Climate Change.
Grants of up to £10k with an average of £5k are available. Closing date 17 October.
The Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust makes grants to charities in Sussex. The medium grants programme is now open until 12 November for grants between £10 and £20k.
Funding is available for projects around older people; disability; welfare; hospices; youth; wildlife and environmental conservation.
Applications for small grants up to £10k can be made any time.
