We’ve changed our name!

Last September, at Celebrating Communities 2024 in Uckfield, we asked the 200 members who attended what they thought of a proposed change of name to ‘Community Action’. The response was overwhelmingly positive, so at the Annual General Meeting in December 2024 we brought the proposal to a vote, which was carried unanimously. And now, we’re making the change to Community Action.

You may notice that our email addresses have changed – but the old 3VA addresses will divert to new ones for a while. The website will change to

communityactioneastsussex.org.uk

shortly, and will be redesigned and relaunched in early 2026. Following group exercises and feedback at Celebrating Communitues 25, we’ll also be working with you, our members, to review our Strategic Objectives.

I hope you’ll agree that the new name, logo and colours are exciting and properly reflect the huge amount of activity, energy and commitment that our members bring to their local communities.
