Eastbourne Downland Group is a member of Eastbourne and Lewes Council’s Downland Forum and contributes walks and events to the council’s annual Walking Festival. The group's activities are designed to widen knowledge about the public ownership of the Downland estate and to communicate the natural capital and health and wellbeing benefits of the estate to the town’s residents, students, businesses and visitors.
Recovery Partners is a mental health recovery and suicide prevention project. A non-profit organisation that is 100% user-led and run, Recovery Partners promotes good practice in mental health, suicide prevention and peer support from lived experience perspectives.
Survivors' Network is a specialist organisation providing friendly support and professional help for survivors or sexual violence and abuse. The organisation believes that with the right support people can and do heal from their experiences and lead full and fulfilling lives. Survivors' Network provides ISVA, counselling and other therapeutic services including day and evening drop-ins, workshops and group work, helpline, homeopathy, yoga and other support groups.
