Active in Recovery CIO
Active in Recovery is a creative and innovative charity whose mission is to provide artistic, physical and therapeutic support, via activities, for people in East Sussex in recovery from substance and alcohol misuse.
Active Student Volunteering Service
Active Student Volunteering Service is a programme set up to support students and staff with anything related to volunteering. We work within the University of Brighton but we are specifically employed to work alongside community groups, students and academics to encourage and support volunteering with and through the University of Brighton. We source placements with community groups for students needing to complete many hours volunteering as part of their degree and we also source other opportunities that students (or staff) may wish to engage with in addition to their degree. We ensure that all volunteering placements are enjoyable, safe and rewarding.

Association of Carers
Their work includes developing and expanding their services in line with what Carers tell them they need to feel supported and able to continue in their caring role, promoting the needs and challenges of unpaid Carers throughout East Sussex, encouraging and developing volunteers and staff through on-going training, support and supervision and maintaining a high organisational profile and raising the profile of Carers within the local community.

Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice
Chestnut Tree House is the only childrens hospice in East and West Sussex and cares for over 280 children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life -limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire.
