Uckfield Bonfire Society

I am part of the Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival Society. We were established in 1827 and have been burning away ever since.

Uckfield Bonfire Society kick starts the Sussex Bonfire season and is a key date in any Sussex diary. We draw in tens of thousands of spectators to enjoy the night with us.

We are a not-for-profit organisation who's slogan is 'We Burn For Charity'. Each year we raise donations to help fund the next years event and allow us to share our fundraising with local charities.

This year we are looking for volunteers to assist with road closures. Without volunteers it is near impossible to run the event. We are looking for volunteers to assist with road closures in Uckfield on 06th September 2025.
