Denton Island Community Centre Garden Volunteers meet fortnightly on Thursday mornings from 10.00am to 12.00pm and work together to help make the Community Centre gardens a beautiful growing space for everyone to enjoy.

We are seeking additional volunteers with or without gardening knowledge to look after and maintain the gardens.

You will need the following skills:
• Enthusiastic - you like gardening
• Reliable – you can come along regularly at the times agreed
• Friendly – you can make people feel welcome
• Team worker – you can work as part of a team

The role will include:

• Helping the Lead Gardener set-up activities, which support the growing of fresh vegetables and herbs.
• Clearing-up at the end of the sessions
• Following our equality, safeguarding and health and safety procedures
• Oh, and having fun!
