BWC provides holistic services to women and girls with multiple and complex needs across Sussex, supporting women through our Women’s Centre in Brighton and Hove and through our community Women’s Hubs across the county. Support is provided in prison including HMP Bronzefield and HMP East Sutton Park. Our service will also be extending into Kent as of the summer 2021.

BWC is looking for an outstanding Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support the Director and lead on trauma informed development and operational issues, ensuring that organisational goals are achieved through effective management practices and that staff are motivated and supported to build strategic, long-term and sustainable services.
We are looking for someone who will sustain and develop BWC’s trauma informed culture of continuous improvement, modelling and sharing the values of the organisation as we work together to support women and children with multiple vulnerabilities. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and the experience and confidence to oversee a wide range of strategic and operational objectives, then we would love to hear from you.

Salary: £29,500 per annum (£36,876 FTE)
Working hours: 28 hours per week with out of office hours required. Local travel will be expected.
