Moving home can demand a lot of your time, especially in doing paperwork to register with water companies, energy companies etc. Did you know that it is strongly advised to check your water bills to prevent being incorrectly billed when you move into a new place?
- Click on the link below for details of your water provider. For your convenience, both companies now use real-time translation software to help customers whose first language isn’t English:

- Southern Water Accessibility
- To avoid being incorrectly billed, take a dated photo of your water meter (and other utility meters) as soon as you move into your new home and on the day you leave the premises
- If your first water bill seems incorrect, you can contact your water provider with this dated photo of the water meter to request a correction of your bill
- Incorrect bills can be challenged and corrected but it can be a difficult process. It will involve having to send emails and make calls – Our 3VA team is here to help you with this, contact our team for support anytime
