All Ukrainian guests residing in UK under Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme, Ukraine Family Scheme or Ukraine Extension Scheme must apply for an E-Visa as soon as possible – and there is no need to wait for the letter from the Home Office. Please keep in mind that all Biometric Residents’ Permit (BRP) cards will need to be replaced by E-Visas by 31 December 2024.

It is important to keep in mind that Home Office advises Ukrainians to keep their BRP cards once it’s replaced by the E-Visa; this is because the BRP cards can be useful as a physical identity document for future applications.
