If you are born before September 2004 and in receipt of Universal credit or on low income you can now apply for 6-8 week courses at Lewes East Sussex college to qualify for careers in the rail industry

Many courses are available to choose from to develop your skills in the rail industry:

• Personal track safety
• Track induction course
• Overhead line equipment construction
• Hand tools/small plant training & assessment
• Manual handling
• Emergency first aid & fire awareness safety
• C&G Level 2 diploma in rail engineering track maintenance
• C&G Level 2 diploma in rail engineering underpinning knowledge
