Reducing Veteran Homelessness Programme Opens to UK Applications

With funding from the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust will provide grants to support projects that contribute to the Government’s aim to reduce veteran homelessness and end rough sleeping across the UK.

The programme is intended for UK registered charities, local authorities and housing association to support projects in the UK that improve the capacity of services in supported housing to be better able to help veterans with a range of needs.

Grants of up to £300,000 per organisation are available for projects being delivered over a period of up to nine months. Organisations can also apply for an Enhanced Award of up to £200,000 where it can be demonstrated that the project will fulfil a significant level of currently unmet need.

Projects can be up to two years in length and should begin within two months of the date of award. Projects can start 1 June 2025. All projects must be completed by 31 March 2026.

Grants can cover most costs associated with a project or activity including people’s time, costs of delivering work online or buying/hiring equipment

The deadline for applications is 31 March 2025 (12 noon).
