This online workshop will take you through the steps to writing a successful funding application, whether it is one for £1,000 or £50,000 – the principles are the same.
The workshop will explore how you can:
- Make your project stand out from the crowd
- Ensure you understand and follow funders’ priorities and guidance
- Evidence the need for your project
- Demonstrate how and why your organisation is best placed to meet that need
- Develop a questioning approach to your work and think like a funder
This workshop’s format will be participative with lots of opportunities to discuss different approaches with fellow attendees, will be peppered with useful case studies for you to learn from, and give you the opportunity to have a funder give you feedback on your own application. You will also receive a guide to different types of funding, funding support available in East Sussex, and a template to record all the details of your project so you can ensure consistency throughout all your applications.
This would be suitable for beginners and those who have done some funding applications but want to improve their skills and confidence in writing them. To discuss your requirements and find out more about the workshop, please contact Lee Shepherd on 07535 992 638 or contact him via email at Lee.Shepherd@3va.org.uk
Please note that priority will be given to the groups working across 3VA areas (Eastbourne, Lewes District and Wealden). The numbers are strictly limited to 12 people per course, a maximum of 2 representatives from each organization will have a confirmed place and further registrations will be put on a waiting list.
