ES VCSE Alliance – Workshop Event – State of the Sector Research – 22nd July

We have now officially launched the State of the Sector research and these next six weeks will be an important phase of insight gathering and conversations with people working in the VCSE sector. Helen from the Ideas Alliance will be leading this engagement and this is where we need your help. She will be hosting a variety of focus groups and drop-in sessions online for you to attend where she will be really interested to hear your views on the state of the sector, the highlights and challenges and where you see the future lies.

Helen would like to warmly invite you to an in-person event on 22^nd July, 2 – 4pm, at the Hampden Park Community Centre,  which plays a crucial part in the State of the Sector research they will be undertaking. This workshop will bring as many people together as possible to create a high-level theory of change for the sector – enabling us to understand the myriad of things the sector does and why. This will be obvious to many of you already and some of you will have your own theories of change, but in order to provide an overall picture for the research, we need something more overarching. And we can’t create a theory of change without you!

Your opinion is important to this research and later in the year – in September – you will have an opportunity to come together again with others to reflect on what we have heard and make sense of it for yourselves. More about that later.
