Meeting the challenge of getting people to services – a focus on community solutions to transport and access problems. 



  • What do local communities do to provide the transport element of access to services?
  • What are the blocks to meeting the transport needs of all members of the community requiring access to services?
  • Tapping into local expertise and knowledge to suggest practical solutions to overcome these blocks
  • Identifying next steps


Opportunities to examine the extent to which existing voluntary transport schemes and other arrangements meet the needs of individuals, to identify gaps and to collaborate in building capacity, improving co-ordination and planning for the future.

Please note that lunch and volunteers’ expenses will be provided.
